The Intelli Proof 240 LED Excellence is an extended wide gamut display with 16-bit 3D hardware calibration, 108% NTSC LED backlight and uniformity compensation. This superb monitor is ideal for all high-end graphic professionals and photographers who demand a true match with Adobe-RGB, ECI-RGB and ISOcoated v2.

The true 10bit colour rendering ensures vivid colours and smooth gradients for highly precise soft proofs and perfect image editing. Additionally, the integrated UGRA UDACT validation software allows a user based certification of the display at any time. Plus, video professionals benefit from the HD compatibility including HDCP and the simulation of different colour standards like SMPTE-C or BT.709.

Precise adjustments

The Quato iColor Display Software adjusts the Intelli Proof“s internal calibration processing unit with up to 48bit resolution. Instead of only up to 256 steps with a software calibration, this solution uses up to 65.535 steps to optimise the display. Additionally the monitor is able to show 1024 grey or billions of colours by using a frame modulation technology. Plus, the ADC uniformity circuit ensures a uniform colour and luminance distribution over the whole screen area for both, the LED-backlight and the panel.

Software features

iColor Display not only adjusts the monitor automatically, it also sports many professional features: the calibration results can be verified by either Quato's internal certification, the UGRA- DACT standard or according to SWOP. That allows an objective judgement of the displays's performance - including the certification for softproofing. A unique calibration restore function is also available. The gamut projection with a/b diagram - in comparison to up to 2 additional profiles - is included, too.

Softproof and Image Editing

Unlike other wide gamut displays, the Intelli Proof 240 excellence LED almost covers both, ECI-RGB and Adobe-RGB. Due to this large gamut, the Intelli Proof excellence is also able to reproduce nearly the full ISOcoated v2 gamut. This makes the display ideally suited for high end photographers with an Adobe-RGB based D-SLR workflow. Professional colour correction and prepress professionals will also benefit from the large gamut and unparalleled colour precision thanks to real 10bit colour.
